READ ME This text describes the data presented in the paper: From Small Molecules To Polymeric Catalysts In Oscillatory Carbonylation Reaction: Multiple Effects of Adding HI ======================== Introductory information ======================== Files included in the data deposit (include a short description of what data are contained): 1) Raw time-pH plots for all reported catalysts 2) XPS data collected for PdAc, L-Cat and P-Cat 3) GC-MS chromatograms of reactions Explain the relationship between multiple data sets, if required: Key words used to describe the data: pH, GC-MS chromatogram, XPS ========================== Methodological information ========================== A brief method description – what the data is, how and why it was collected or created, and how it was processed: Time-pH monitoring collected during the course of reaction. XPS collected on solid samples before the reaction, pelletised. Chromstography samples collected in the end of the reaction, as indicated in the paper. Instruments, hardware and software used: Time-pH data is collected using HEL micronote software in a.txt format. XPS data was collected using Thermo Scientific K-Alpha spectrometer as an nxs file, processed (i.e. background corrected) using CasaXPS software and deposited as txt file. Chromstography data was collected using Varian Saturn 2200 GC-MS machine, using its own file format, then exported as txt files. Date(s) of data collection: Various in the period from March 2017 to November 2017 Geographic coverage of data: Newcastle, Merz Court, C115 or Stephenson Building, NEXUS facility Data validation (how was the data checked, proofed and cleaned): pH data calibrated against aqueous solutions NIST traceable XPS data calibrated against Pd foil Chromstography referenced against internal standard Overview of secondary data, if used: ========================= Data-specific information ========================= Definitions of names, labels, acronyms or specialist terminology uses for variables, records and their values: Explanation of weighting and grossing variables: Outline any missing data: ======= Contact ======= Please contact rdm@ncl.ac.uk for further information
