Rebecca Wassall

Senior Clinical Lecturer / Honorary Consultant in Special Care Dentistry (Health sciences; Design; Digital health)

I am a clinical academic in Special Care Dentistry, passionate about enhancing dental care systems for older patients with complex health and care needs so they can experience effective and co-ordinated oral care that is meaningful to them. My research aims to better understand the needs of people receiving and delivering dental care and to develop tools, processes and services fit for the internet era that will ultimately help NHS community dentists deliver better care for their patients.
