pH and power oscillations in the carbonylation of phenylacetylene in methanol-water mixtures with 0-40% water at 30 degrees Celsius

Heater power, Qr and pH data recorded with time during the carbonylation of phenylacetylene in methanol-water mixtures with water content from 0-40% at 30 degrees Celsius. The experiments were conducted in an HEL Simular reaction calorimeter using power compensation calorimetry. Oscillations in pH and heater power were recorded with the regular oscillations in pH becoming more stepwise as the water concentration increased.
