Pulsed Flow Simulation Animations

media
posted on 2023-03-31, 09:46 authored by Jordan Reece DayJordan Reece Day

Five animations for simulated substrate transportation and removal in pilot scale Microbial electrochemical technology (MET) reactor using a pulsed fluid delivery method. Four of the animations also show electrochemical behaviour over a period of 4 days. This data is analysed in section 6.3 and section 6.4.

100mgl Substrate Contour Plot for pulsed flow

This animation is for substrate transportation through a MET reactor (Snapshots are presented in Figure 6.5)

100mgL Substrate 12 Baffles Pulsed Flow

This animation is for a pulsed fluid MET reactor contining 12 baffles and with an influent COD concentration of 100mg/L (Case 3)

1000mgL Substrate 12 Baffles Pulsed Flow

This is the animation is for a pulsed fluid MET reactor contining 12 baffles and with an influent COD concentration of 1000mg/L (Case 4)

100mgL Substrate 4 Baffles Pulsed Flow

This is the animation is for a pulsed fluid MET reactor contining 4 baffles and with an influent COD concentration of 100mg/L (Case 1)

1000mgL Substrate 4 Baffles Pulsed Flow

This is the animation is for a pulsed fluid MET reactor contining 4 baffles and with an influent COD concentration of 1000mg/L (Case 2)
