<p>Map of Hadrian’s Wall frontier zone including features of the wall itself (curtain wall, wall ditch and vallum) alongside position of major forts and road system. Colour with labels. Map was created using shapefiles produced as part of Hadrian’s Wall Community Archaeology Project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (Garland 2020a, 2020b, 2020c). All other elements visible on the map (rivers, DTM created using 50m contours) were created using Ordnance Survey OpenData.
