This data underlay findings included in "Votucalis, a Novel Centrally Sparing Histamine-binding Protein, Attenuates Histaminergic Itch and Neuropathic Pain in Mice" accepted for publication in Frontiers in Pharmacology.
The study explored novel refractory therapeutic indications based on scavenging of peripherally released endogenous histamine by Votucalis and focused on mouse models of acute itch and chronic neuropathic pain. Our overall findings further emphasise the key role for histamine in the regulation of histaminergic itch and chronic neuropathic pain.
