River Dart ground control points (GCPs) :

Ground control point data used in the orthorectification of imagery acquired by the fixed camera. X Y Z [m] are the physical locations of GCPs in local grid. X Y [px] are the corresponding locations of the GCPs in image pixel coordinates.

River Dart cross-section :

Cross-section data to be loaded into KLT-IV for processing of River Dart videos. x- and y- and z-coordinates are in local grid above an arbitrary datum. The z-elevations are referenced to the same datum as the water level elevations presented in the FileList datasets.

Environment Agency flow gauging data <2018.10.25 Austins_Gaugings.csv>:

Flow gauging data acquired by the Environment Agency between 1980 and 2018 for the determination of river flow discharge on the River Dart at Austins Bridge (UK).

River Dart calibration videos file list :

Dates of water surface measurements made during the same time period as videos were acquired during the calibration period. Also present are river level measurements. These water level elevations are referenced to the same datum as the z-elevations presented in the GCP and cross-section datasets.

River Dart calibration videos :

Compressed folder (7Zip) containing videos used to assess river surface velocities during the calibration time period. Videos are named using the following approach: devon_dartyyyymmdd_HHMM0.mp4 where the values in bold represent the date and time of the video acquisition. The format of the videos is mp4 and were acquired at a frame rate of 19.99Hz for a duration of 10-seconds.

River Dart validation videos file list :

Dates of water surface measurements made during the same time period as videos were acquired during the validation period. Also present are river level measurements. These water level elevations are referenced to the same datum as the z-elevations presented in the GCP and cross-section datasets.

River Dart validation videos :

Compressed folder (7Zip) containing videos used to assess river surface velocities during the validation time period. Videos are named using the following approach: devon_dartyyyymmdd_HHMM0.mp4 where the values in bold represent the date and time of the video acquisition. The format of the videos is mp4 and were acquired at a frame rate of 19.99Hz for a duration of 10-seconds.

Q Reports

Compressed folder (.zip) containing the outputs of analysis undertaken by KLT-IV. Within this folder are 'Discharge Report' files in html format which summarise the results of the image velocimetry analysis for each video analysed.

Summary outputs 1 :

These are the summary outputs produced following analysis of KLT-IV on the videos acquired during the calibration and validation periods. This data has been extracted from the Q Report html files that are exported from KLT-IV during the analysis.

Summary outputs 2 :

These are the summary outputs generated by KLT-IV directly. The difference between Summary Output 1 and Summary Output 2 is that in the former case the discharge data is presented with the time that the video was acquired, whereas in the latter the discharge data is presented with the time that the corresponding river level measurement was acquired. There can be a discrepancy between the two of up to 10-minutes.

aDcp Transects

An excel file containing aDcp transect data for eight different flow magnitudes.
