This dataset consists of the telemetry (measurement) data from 23 substations at the Smart Energy Network Demonstrator at Keele University in the UK.

Data is provided on a half-minutely basis (i.e., every 30 seconds) for eight days through 2022, consisting of line-line voltage magnitudes, line currents, total real and reactive power and power factor.

Units:

- Voltages are in volts (line-line)

- Currents in amps

- Real power in W

- Reactive power in VAr

Measurements are made with Siemens Class S Power Quality Instrument and Power Monitoring Device SICAM P850/P855.

Folders in telemetry.zip correspond to different dates in the format yyyy_m_dd (e.g., 2022_11_12 is 12th November 2022).

Data is provided in the state it was collected (i.e., there has been no data cleaning, and so there are some missing values).

Funding

M. Deakin is funded by a research fellowship from the Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy (C-DICE) programme led by Loughborough University in partnership with Cranfield University and the University of Birmingham. C-DICE is funded by the Research England Development Fund.

The Smart Energy Network Demonstrator project (ref: 32R16P00706) is part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the England 2014 to 2020 European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth Programme. It is also receiving funds from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
