Five channel electromyography data obtained while participants performed an abstract motor learning task. Participants used co-contraction of muscle pairs from the right hand and forearm to control a cursor. Data were collected under three experimental conditions. In the first condition participants used abductor pollicis brevis and abductor digiti minimi to control the cursor. In the second abductor pollicis brevis and the first dorsal interossei were used. In the third experimental condition flexor carpi radialis and extensor carpi radialis were used.
